Businesswoman Dianne York said Filner put his hands on her buttocks during a photo opportunity after a meeting three months ago. She is the 18th woman to accuse Filner of improper conduct, CNN reported Wednesday.
Filner, 70, has acknowledged inappropriate behavior, saying he has "failed to fully respect the women who work with me and for me" but has resisted efforts to force him from office.
The Democratic National Committee announced Wednesday it will vote on a resolution this week calling for the resignation of Filner, a Democrat.
While several high-profile Democrats, as well as the San Diego Democratic Party, have called on Filner to resign, the announcement of a vote is the first indication the national party will urge him to step aside, CNN said.
