N.J. guitar teacher charged with spanking student for sexual pleasure

FREEHOLD, N.J., Aug. 20 (UPI) -- A man who gave guitar lessons at a Jersey Shore music store has been formally charged with spanking a young student for sexual pleasure.

Frank DiLiberto, 60, of Manalapan, who was arrested in May, is being held in the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bail, NJ.com reported Tuesday. A grand jury handed up an indictment this month charging him with sexual assault on a child under the age of 13 and endangering the welfare of a child.

The Musician's Workshop in Manalapan fired DiLiberto after his arrest, prosecutors said. The conditions of his bail include staying away from his victim and from the store.
