The employees, of the Ocean County Vehicle Maintenance Department in Toms River, N.J., took part in a pool for the ticket that was purchased at the Acme store in Little Egg Harbor, USA Today reported.
"We are thrilled," Ocean County Freeholder Director John Kelly said. "It's good to see these hard-working, blue-collar employees win this money that's really going to be a life-changer for them."
The employees, who live in an area hit hard by Hurricane Sandy, will split a third of the $448 million jackpot.
After taxes, each worker will receive about $4 million, KYW-TV, Philadelphia, reported.
The holder of another winning ticket sold in New Jersey has yet to come forward.
Paul White, the third winner who bought the ticket in Minnesota, claimed his third of the jackpot Thursday, totaling $149.4 million before taxes.
