SAN DIEGO, Aug. 5 (UPI) -- San Diego, Calif., Mayor Bob Filner faces new charges of sexual harassment, this time for an incident that reportedly happened in June, officials said.
Renee Estill-Sombright is the 10th woman to accuse Filner of sexual harassment, KGTV, San Diego, reported Sunday.
Estill-Sombright told the station she was at a church breakfast when she saw the mayor and went over to greet him, having met him once before.
The mayor grabbed both her hands and told her, "You are so beautiful and I cannot take my eyes off of you," Estill-Sombright said.
He then inquired if she was married and said he would like to take her out, the woman recounted.
She later learned from her boss the mayor was engaged to be married.
The woman joined the mayor's other accusers in urging him to resign.
