NEW YORK, July 30 (UPI) -- Two people who jumped in front of a Long Island Rail Road train in New York City have died, police said.
The Manhattan-bound train struck the victims at 10:20 p.m. in Queens, the New York Post said.
Witnesses told police they saw the two people leap in front of the train as it approached.
The Post said passengers on the train waited for nearly two hours as the bodies were removed from beneath the cars.
Authorities would not say whether the incident was a suicide, the Post said.
