TUNKHANNOCK, Pa., July 28 (UPI) -- A helicopter crashed in eastern Pennsylvania overnight killing all five people on board, authorities said Sunday.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the Robinson 66 helicopter went down in a heavily wooded area on South Mountain near Noxen in Wyoming County and the wreckage was discovered at 1:50 p.m. EDT, The (Wilkes-Barre) Times Leader reported.

The FAA said the aircraft was flying from the Greater Binghamton Airport in New York to Jake Arner Memorial Airport in Lehighton, Pa., when it crashed Saturday night, the newspaper said.

National Transportation Safety Board personnel were headed to the scene to join the FAA in investigating the accident.
