EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio, July 23 (UPI) -- Police identified the second of three bodies found in an East Cleveland, Ohio, neighborhood and the mayor said he's known one victim's family for years.

Police said they have identified the body of Shetisha Sheeley, 28, who was described by her mother as a loner who had not been in contact with relatives for some time, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer reported Tuesday. Her body was found wrapped in multiple plastic bags in a field.

The body of another woman, identified last week as 38-year-old Angela Deskins, was found wrapped in plastic inside a garage not far from where police found Sheeley's body. A third woman who had yet to be identified was found in the basement of an abandoned home also in the neighborhood.

Police found Deskins' body after neighbors complained of a foul odor coming from the garage. After a tip from the public, police questioned Michael Madison, 35, a registered sex offender. He has since been charged with all three homicides.

East Cleveland Mayor Gary Norton said he's known the Deskins family for about 15 years, saying "my heart goes out to them."

Norton described the Deskins family as a prominent one in the community.

A description of tattoos on Sheeley's body released to the media led to her family coming forward. Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner Thomas Gilson said fingerprints confirmed the two women's identities.

No cause of death had been released for any of the three women.

Madison was being held in lieu of $3 million bail or $6 million bond, The Plain Dealer said. He did not enter a plea during a brief court appearance Monday.
