Small plane crashes into home, at least 1 person injured

MARYLAND CITY, Md., July 18 (UPI) -- A small plane crashed into a home in Maryland Thursday morning, seriously injuring at least one person, officials said.

The incident happened inside a trailer park in Maryland City at about 10:15 a.m., WUSA-TV, Washington, D.C., reported.

A spokesperson with Anne Arundel County Fire said the plane hit two mobile homes, coming to rest half in the side one of them.

A 70-year-old man was transported from the scene with life threatening injuries, the spokesperson said.
