Powder found on JetBlue plane en route to Connecticut

HARTFORD, Conn., July 16 (UPI) -- White powder was found in a bathroom on a JetBlue plane on a flight from Florida to Hartford, Conn., police said.

Saran Johnson, a spokesman for the airline, said Connecticut state troopers met the plane Monday night at Bradley International Airport "out of an abundance of caution," The Hartford Courant reported. Passengers were allowed to get off the plane.

Officials said the incident was not expected to affect the operations of other airlines at Bradley, although JetBlue delays were expected.
