Transit police in San Francisco investigating sex video on train

July 14, 2013 at 7:24 PM   |   Comments

SAN FRANCISCO, July 14 (UPI) -- Bay Area Rapid Transit police said they are looking for two people who were the subject of an apparent sex video shot on a moving BART train in California.

Deputy Chief Ben Fairow said the video shows two partially clothed people apparently having intercourse on the seat of a BART train car.

Darkness outside the windows of the train suggests it was in a tunnel at the time the video was shot, but other than that, there is no indication what time of day or where it was filmed, KNTV, San Francisco, reported Sunday.

The faces of the two people involved can be seen in grainy images taken from the video, but they had not been identified.

If they are, Fairow said they could face a misdemeanor charge and a system-wide ban.

"It's not considered a serious, violent offense, but it is something that we take seriously. It's also one of the crimes that's eligible for an AB 716 prohibition order, which is a new law that went into effect to prohibit certain individuals who commit certain offenses from being in or around our properties," he said.
