LOS ANGELES, July 14 (UPI) -- Los Angeles police asked the public's help Sunday in tracking down a motorist sought in an apparent road-rage killing.
Police were looking for the driver of a gray Dodge Challenger who allegedly fatally shot the driver of a Kia Rio about 3 p.m. Saturday in the San Fernando Valley, the Los Angeles Times reported.
The victim, whose name had not been released, was described by police as a 22-year-old Latino man, the newspaper said.
Police Lt. Kamran Khan said the three occupants of the Kia and two people in the Challenger exchanged words twice while traveling on Branford Street and the driver of the Challenger, described as a Latino in his early 20s, then allegedly fired a .40-caliber handgun at the Kia's driver.
