Lawsuit alleges girl was molested at South Florida preschool

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 11 (UPI) -- A South Florida couple have sued a preschool, charging a teacher there sexually molested their daughter.

Olakunle Omomowo, a music teacher at Discovery Preschool Center in Coconut Creek, was arrested by Broward County authorities in June on charges of molesting one girl, The Miami Herald reported Wednesday. Eight families now say their children were abused by him at the school.

So far, no criminal charges have been filed involving the 5-year-old in the lawsuit brought this week. Her parents say Discovery Preschool Center was negligent for allowing Omomowo, 38, to be alone with small children.
