June 15, 2013 at 12:00 PM

ATLANTIS, Fla., June 15 (UPI) -- The suspect in an Atlantis, Fla., gas station robbery was arrested later when she was pulled over for speeding, police said.

Heather Brianna Kelly, 25, of Fort Pierce, was allegedly caught on surveillance video robbing a gas station in Atlantis early Tuesday morning, WPEC-TV, West Palm Beach, Fla., reported.

However, Kelly was not arrested for the robbery until later, when she was pulled over in Palm City for speeding, said Atlantis police Detective Marvin Jenne. Kelly was arrested on an outstanding warrant for a probation violation from another county and was booked into the Martin County jail.

While being questioned by police, Kelly allegedly admitted to the robbery.
