The motorcycle officers were hurt on Interstate 95 as they approached an exit ramp while accompanying the motorcade to Miami International Airport, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Thursday.
Sgt. Rufus Devane III, 42, and Sgt. Santiago Cruz, 49, were taken to an area hospital to undergo tests for injuries that police said were not considered life threatening.
The president was headed to the airport to return to Washington after a fundraising event in Miami Beach.
A vehicle abandoned on the shoulder of the highway may have contributed to the accident, police said.
Devane is a 19-year veteran of the Miami Police Department, officials said. Cruz has been with the department 22 years.
