ROY, Wash., May 27 (UPI) -- A Washington state father has been accused of putting his 6-week-old daughter in the freezer because she wouldn't stop crying, police said.
The incident happened Saturday afternoon at the family's home in Pierce County, KOMO-TV, Seattle, reported.

The girl's 22-year-old mother called police when she witnessed her boyfriend take the baby out of the freezer.
The girl was taken to a local hospital with a body temperature of 84 degrees. She is expected to recover.
Pierce County Sheriff's spokesman Ed Troyer said the 25-year-old father was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Troyer said the girl was in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
