ELYRIA, Ohio, May 23 (UPI) -- An Ohio woman was fined $444 and sentenced to 30 days in jail for child endangerment after her 3-year-old son was found wandering the streets multiple times.

Latasha Andrewski, 33, was found guilty Tuesday in Elyria Municipal Court on one count of endangering children, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer reported.

Prosecutors said Andrewski's son, Trevor, was found wandering the streets of Elyria Ohio, alone four times from October through February.

Trevor's most recent escape happened Feb 13. He was found dressed only in shorts, a T-shirt and rubber boots in 35-degree weather.

The boy told police his name was "Trevor Trouble" and that he snuck out of his family's home.

Andrewski said she has since installed alarms on doors of their home to stop future escapes.
