CENTENNIAL, Colo., May 23 (UPI) -- Search warrants reveal Aurora, Colo., mass shooting suspect James Holmes received six deliveries from an online ammunition vendor, BulkAmmo.com

He also had other packages sent to his apartment on an almost-daily basis, the documents indicate.

The release of the documents Wednesday came after The Denver Post and other media outlets sued to have the information unsealed.

Holmes, 25, is charged with 166 counts of murder, attempted murder and other offenses for allegedly staging a shooting attack at an Aurora movie theater July 20 during a midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises." Twelve people were killed and 58 were injured.

He has formally asked to change his plea to not guilty by reason of insanity, the Post said.

Lawyers on both sides will argue about his request Thursday in court before a judge decides whether to accept the plea change.
