Obama schedule for Wednesday, May 22

WASHINGTON, May 22 (UPI) -- President Obama meets out of the public eye during the day Wednesday then hosts a concert honoring singer-songwriter Carole King, the White House said.

The daily schedule indicates Obama will:

-- Receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.

-- Meet with Treasury Secretary Jack Lew in the Oval Office.

-- Host, along with first lady Michelle Obama, a concert in the East Room honoring singer-songwriter Carole King, who will be awarded the 2013 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The concert is part of the "In Performance at the White House" series. Vice President Joe Biden will attend.
