BOCA RATON, Fla., May 7 (UPI) -- The 53-year-old grandson of the founder of the Hilton hotel chain was arrested for battery after pushing a woman at a Boca Raton restaurant, police said.

Conrad Nicholson Hilton III was arrested early Sunday, authorities said.

Hilton was at Abe and Louie's restaurant with a friend and a 61-year-old woman when police were called to the restaurant because the table was refusing to pay its $531 tab, the South Florida Sun Sentinel said.

Officers at the scene said they saw Hilton grab the woman by the shoulders and push her.

The woman would not tell police why Hilton pushed her, the Sentinel said.

Hilton was released from jail Monday afternoon.

Hilton is the son of Conrad Hilton Jr., who was briefly married to Elizabeth Taylor, and is a cousin of socialite of Paris Hilton, the Sentinel said.
