Obama to meet with Qatar's al-Thani

WASHINGTON, April 23 (UPI) -- President Barack Obama is scheduled to meet with Qatar Sheik Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani Tuesday, the White House said.

The daily schedule indicated Obama will:

-- Receive, with Vice President Joe Biden, the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.

-- Meet with senior advisers.

-- Honor the 2013 National Teacher of the Year and finalists in the Rose Garden.

-- Meet with al-Thani in the Oval Office.

-- Have dinner with a bipartisan group of female Senators in the State Dining Room.
