CULLMAN, Ala., April 22 (UPI) -- An escaped convict, who is a person of interest in a hospital bomb threat, was arrested early Monday morning in Cullman County, Ala., police said.

Jeremy Lewayne Lang, who escaped from Arab, Ala., police Sunday evening, was arrested in the Holly Pond, Ala., after authorities learned Lang might attempt to harm someone near the area, The Cullman (Ala.) Times reported Monday, adding Lang was charged with existing felony arson warrants.

Cullman County Sheriff Mike Rainey said Lang is a person of interest in a bomb threat that led to an evacuation and search of Cullman Regional Medical Center, as well as two other Alabama hospitals. No bomb was found at any location.
