WILLIAMSBURG, Va., April 19 (UPI) -- A small airplane carrying at least two people crashed in a retirement community in Virginia Friday afternoon, killing at least one person, authorities said.

The Virginia Gazette said the Cessna went down about 5 p.m. EDT in Williamsburg Landing, a retirement community near the Williamsburg-Jamestown Airport.

The Newport Beach Daily Press reported the plane crashed on Boatright Court and wound up in a wooded area about 50 yards from a home.
