April 13, 2013 at 3:03 PM

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla., April 13 (UPI) -- Five people were killed Saturday in Riviera Beach, Fla., when a driver ran a red light and slammed the car they were riding in, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

FHP Lt. Tim Frith said Jabari S. Kemp, 21, had exited Interstate 95 at around 12:25 a.m. EDT when he ran a red light and "T-boned" the other vehicle, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

All five occupants of the other car were killed.

Police said two of the victims had been identified -- Jason A. Mahlung, 21, and Shonteria Grimsley, 17, both of Riviera Beach.

A third victim was identified only as a 22-year-old man whose family had not yet been notified. The other two victims were women who had not been identified.
