Student dies after bus stop shooting

NASHVILLE, April 11 (UPI) -- A Nashville teenager shot Thursday morning while waiting at a bus stop has died, hospital officials say.

The victim, believed to be about 16 or 17, was shot in the neck while waiting for a school bus going to Pearl-Cohn High School, The (Nashville) Tennessean reported.

Police said the shot came from a vacant lot across the street from the bus stop.
