Assist. principal accused of student sex

HEMET, Calif., April 4 (UPI) -- An assistant high school principal in Hemet, Calif., was arrested Wednesday on suspicion she had a sexual relationship with three male students.

Hemet police said in a release that Tahquitz High School Assistant Principal Erin Henton, 45, was arrested after a three-week investigation, U-T San Diego reported. A county prosecutor said charges had not yet been filed.

The newspaper said Henton was relieved of her duties and placed on administrative leave by the school district after the allegations were made March 8.

Police said the alleged incidents involving the unidentified minor boys did not occur on the high school's campus.
