Body found in N.J. ID'd as missing woman

MOUNT HOLLY, N.J., March 28 (UPI) -- A body found last year in the New Jersey Pine Barrens has been identified as a young woman reported missing in Pennsylvania, authorities said Wednesday.

Joel Bewley, a spokesman for the prosecutor's office in Burlington County, N.J., said Molly Lynch's death has been classified as a homicide, the Burlington County Times reported. But Bewley said the coroner had not determined how the 22-year-old woman died.

The body was found by all-terrain vehicle riders on a dirt road in Pemberton last June. It was in such bad condition the gender could not immediately be ascertained.

Lynch, who lived in Levittown in Bucks County, across the Delaware River from Trenton, N.J., was reported missing in April 2012. The Bucks County District Attorney had also classified her as a fugitive because of arrests for drunken driving and drug possession.
