Peter Coladarci said Tuesday he will ask a Cook County, Ill., judge to accelerate the exchange of official reports involving the death of David Bogenberger, 19, who died at after a November 2012 Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity pledge party at the DaKalb, Ill., college.
Cook County Judge Randye Kogan ordered last month that Coladarci could subpoena DeKalb police for their investigative reports. They have not yet been received, Coladarci said.
"I don't think they're trying to stonewall me. I just think they've got a lot going on out there," he said.
The suit alleges fraternity members forced Bogenberger to consume alcohol, leading to death by heart arrhythmia, the Chicago tribune said Tuesday.
Bogenberger's blood alcohol level was 0.351, four times the legal driving limit, DeKalb County Coroner Dennis Miller said.
