PALMYRA, Mich., March 21 (UPI) -- A 22-year-old man has pleaded guilty to stealing a 150-year-old Bible from the Palmyra Masonic Temple in Michigan.

Ronald Morton Huskins II, of Palmyra, pleaded guilty to a felony larceny charge Wednesday in Lenawee County Circuit Court and was ordered to return to court on April 18 for sentencing, The Daily Telegram, Adrian, Mich., reported.

Huskins was arrested in November for the July 20, 2011, break-in at the temple.

While being questioned by police, Huskins told Lenawee County sheriff's deputies that the Bible was stolen from the temple and later burned.

The 150-year-old Bible had been used at the temple since it was established in 1866.

Huskins faces up to four years in prison.
