AUSTIN, Texas, March 19 (UPI) -- A Texas woman is charged with assault after using her finger to dig out another woman's eyeball during a fight, police said.

Talicia Morrison, 20, of Austin has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after the altercation with a female victim. Morrison allegedly told police she was fighting with the woman when she grabbed the woman's eye and "dug her fingers up in there," the affidavit for her arrest states.

The Austin American-Statesman said the woman had her eyeball placed back in the socket, but the extent of her injuries was not released.

Morrison is being held in lieu of $70,000 bail.
