Boy, 4, two men wounded in California

March 16, 2013 at 11:28 PM

PASADENA, Calif., March 16 (UPI) -- A garage in Pasadena, Calif., was riddled by gunfire, leaving a 4-year-old boy and two men who were inside wounded, police said.

The boy was wounded in the torso Friday night and remained hospitalized in critical condition Saturday, the San Bernadino Sun reported. A man in his 50s was shot in the arm and a man in his 30s suffered a bullet graze, the newspaper said. The victims' relationship was unclear.

Pasadena police Lt. Jason Clawson said the shots were fired from in front of the home about 9 p.m. PDT Friday.

"The rounds penetrated a residential structure, a garage area, where the victims were," he said.

Three suspects were being sought but none had been arrested and a motive had yet to be determined, Calatayud said.

The shooting took place on the same block where a teenage boy was wounded slightly in a shooting Wednesday, the Sun said. No arrest had been made in that shooting either.
