He will play Jeffrey King -- friend of Matthew Buchanan, played by Robert Gorrie, and Danielle Manning, played by Kelley Missal -- in the web version of "One Life to Live."

King was described in a news release as "a brilliant young reporter who moves to Llanview to work for publisher, Victoria Lord, played by Erica Slezak, at Llanview's newspaper, The Banner."

"We are absolutely thrilled to have Corbin Bleu join the remarkable cast of 'One Life to Live.' Corbin is multi-talented and we look forward to seeing this dynamic character unfold," Jeff Kwatinetz, chairman and chief executive officer of the Prospect Park production company, said in a statement.

The series, which was canceled by ABC in 2011 to make room for more reality lifestyle programming, is being revived online with most of its beloved stars returning. The first new episode is to premiere April 29.
