KISSIMMEE, Fla., March 13 (UPI) -- A 13-year-old Missouri boy has died, two days after being pulled unconscious out of a swimming pool at a Disney resort in Kissimmee, Fla., police said.

The Orange County (Fla.) Sheriff's Office said Anthony Johnson, who was visiting the area from Missouri with his family, was swimming at Pop Century Resort Sunday night when a cousin noticed him at the bottom of the pool and pulled him out.

Johnson's father administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation until paramedics arrived and took Johnson to a hospital, where he died Tuesday, WFTV-TV, Orlando, reported Wednesday.

"We are saddened by Anthony Johnson's passing and our hearts go out to his family, friends and loved ones," Disney said in a news release. "We have reached out to his family to offer care and assistance during this difficult time."
