HOUSTON, March 11 (UPI) -- A small Delta Airlines plane ran off the tarmac at Hobby Airport in Houston early Monday, officials said. No injuries were reported.

Flight 4302 was scheduled to leave Houston at 6 a.m. and land in Atlanta at 7:39 a.m., KHOU-TV, Houston, reported.

However, an airport official said the plane experienced some sort of communication problem, causing the pilot to veer off the taxiway while trying to go back to the terminal.

About 70 passengers had to get off the plane and take a shuttle back to the terminal. They were put on a later flight to Atlanta.

An airport spokesman said the plane would be inspected before being put back into service.
