NEW YORK, March 9 (UPI) -- A fender-bender of sorts took place on the tarmac at New York's Kennedy Airport when taxiing airplanes bumped into one another, aviation officials said.

No injuries were reported when an incoming Air India flight with about 150 people on board struck the rudder of a JetBlue plane bound for West Palm Beach, Fla., the New York Post reported.

The collision took place just after Air India Flight 102 landed at 6:19 a.m. Saturday as it taxied to the gate.

"There was a noise. You could feel the vibration but I didn't know what happened," an Air India passenger said.

Aviation officials told the Post it was a "minor situation."

The JetBlue passengers were forced to board another plane.
