BARBOURVILLE, Ky., March 9 (UPI) -- A house fire in southeastern Kentucky Saturday killed seven people, including five children, state police said.
Family members identified five of the victims as Jesse Disney; his girlfriend, Nina Asher; and Asher's three children, Will, 3, Caden, 2, and Abigail, 10 months. Investigators said the other two who died were neighbors' children who were sleeping over, WLEX-TV, Lexington, reported.
The blaze happened just before 10 a.m. in a home on Sam Parker Road in the Knox County community of Gray, WLEX-TV said.
State Police said the cause of the fire, which was extinguished by 12:30 p.m., had not been determined but they did not believe foul play was involved, the TV station said.
The fire broke out just before 10:00 Saturday morning at a home on Sam Parker Road in the Gray Community.
