LOMPOC, Calif., March 8 (UPI) -- Marijuana valued at $1 million was found near a crashed boat on a California beach Thursday, authorities said.

The marijuana was discovered near the overturned boat north of Wall Beach near Vandenberg Air Force Base, the Los Angeles Times reported. The amount of pot found wasn't reported.

It wasn't clear whether anyone was injured in the boat crash, the newspaper said.

Police said they were looking for suspects.
