Man accused of filming women at salon

HYANNIS, Mass., Feb. 25 (UPI) -- A Massachusetts tanning salon employee was arrested for allegedly setting up cameras to video-record women while they tanned, police said.

Luis Macedo, 47, of Sunsational Tanning in Hyannis, was arrested Sunday after a woman told police she noticed a camera by her feet in a booth at the salon, The Boston Globe reported.

Police set up surveillance cameras at the salon and allegedly captured Macedo placing a picture phone in a changing room. Officers said they also found a peephole hidden by an advertisement on a wall.

Macedo allegedly admitted to recording women in the with his cellphone through the perforated floors of the booths and from the peephole in the changing room.

He was charged with two counts of secretly video-recording or photgraphing nudity.
