Store fight ends with minor stab wounds

VISTA, Calif., Feb. 24 (UPI) -- A fight in a California taco shop Sunday resulted in at least two men stabbed and others injured, police said.

An argument involving more than 20 people began inside Albertaco's Mexican Food in Vista about 1:20 a.m., U-T San Diego reported.

The melee spilled outside and different kinds of weapons, including broken bottles, a billy club and pieces of wooden fencing, were used, Sgt. Nick Maryn said.

Most of those involved ran off when deputies arrived at the scene, U-T San Diego said.

Maryn said one victim who suffered a minor stab wound was taken to the hospital, and another with similar wounds also went to the hospital later in the morning. Another person had a broken nose.

Witnesses were unable to identify those who participated in the fight, so no one had yet been arrested. The investigation was ongoing, Maryn said.
