O.J. Simpson's ex-girlfriend says he threatened her, compared her to Nicole
LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- A California father was arrested Sunday for allegedly leaving his 2-year-old daughter in a truck while he went inside a strip club and got drunk, police said.
Santos Barillas, 24, of Canoga Park, is facing several charges for the incident, including child endangerment, KTLA-TV, Los Angeles, reported Sunday.
Police were called the scene at about midnight after receiving a report that a toddler was locked in the truck. When officers arrived they found Barillas asleep with the child in the back seat of the pickup.
Barillas, who was allegedly intoxicated when police arrived, was arrested and child services was called to assist with the care of the young girl.
Investigators spoke with several bar patrons and workers who confirmed Barillas was inside the club without the child.
