Obama schedule for Friday, Feb. 22

WASHINGTON, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- President Obama welcomes Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to the White House Friday, the daily schedule indicated.

The schedule said Obama will:

-- Receive, with Vice President Joe Biden, the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.

-- Attend, with Biden, a Democratic Governors Association Meeting.

-- Meet with Abe to discuss a number of issues, including the U.S.-Japan security alliance, economic and trade issues, as well as deepening bilateral cooperation. Biden also will attend.

-- Have lunch with Biden and Abe in the Cabinet Room.
