WASHINGTON, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- A new North Korean propaganda video, available on the Internet, credits the United States with making it a nuclear power.

The 90-second video "Thanks to the Americans," one of many released to the website YouTube in the last several years, shows President Barack Obama and U.S. troops surrounded by flames and claims "the United States' gangster-like policy of hostility prompted us to become a most strong military power," The Washington Post reported Wednesday.

Other recently released propaganda efforts include a recurring theme of the United States in "nuclear flames," promises to "fill space with satellites" and a dream sequence in which a North Korean astronaut in a homemade spacecraft sees Manhattan attacked with missiles, the newspaper said.
