DELAND, Fla., Feb. 19 (UPI) -- A teacher at a Catholic school in Florida has been sentenced to five years in prison for using hidden cameras to get videotape of girls changing clothes.

Joshua Waguespack, 34, was also ordered to spend five years on probation, the Orlando Sentinel reported. During Monday's hearing, he apologized for his actions.

Waguespack has been in jail since his arrest in April. He was given credit for time served.

Police discovered the videotape after Waguespack lost his laptop computer and sought help finding it. Officers used a tracking device to find the computer and then discovered the tape.

Waguespack, a teacher at St. Peter Catholic School in DeLand, concealed cameras in a closet.
