HOUSTON, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- Police in Houston said they arrested two men for beating a friend, robbing him at gunpoint and taking $1 from the man's pocket.

The Houston Chronicle reported Randy Chinonso Dike, 25, and Leonardo Taveras, 24, were arrested Thursday for aggravated robbery following the Feb. 10 incident.

A Houston man told police he received a call from Taveras, an acquaintance, who asked him to help him with his car.

When the victim arrived, the two men reportedly accused him of burglarizing Taveras' apartment, the Chronicle said.

Dike allegedly punched the man several times and Taveras pointed a shotgun at the man, court records show.

Dike then took a $1 bill he found in the man's pockets, the Chronicle reported.
