
KANSAS CITY, Mo., Feb. 17 (UPI) -- Police in Kansas City, Mo., say a 27-year-old man has confessed to killing two women who were working as prostitutes.
Derek Richardson has been arrested and charged for the deaths of Tamara Sparks, 40, and Nicoleone Reed, 23, KCMO-TV, Kansas City, Mo. reported.
Richardson allegedly told police that he killed Sparks in October of 2011 after he picked her up and brought her her back to his duplex, where she performed sexual acts on him. He allegedly said he then choked her dumped her body off the side of the road in Clay County, pouring bleach on it.
He allegedly said he did similar things to Reed, whose body was found strangled in Clay County in August of 2012.
Police said they were led to Richardson in the investigation by an informant who allegedly overheard Richardson talking about this slayings
