Wife allegedly shot, threatened rivals

NORMAN, Okla., Feb. 14 (UPI) -- An Oklahoma woman has been charged with shooting and wounding one of her husband's alleged girlfriends and threatening another.

Virginia Ruth Davis, 47, of Norman waived a jury trial on the threat charge Tuesday, The Oklahoman reported. That could mean she plans to plead guilty, the newspaper said.

Davis allegedly told the owner of a Norman clothing store in November she would harm her.

"I know you have been flirting with my husband," she allegedly told Sampson. "I have already beaten the crap out of one woman, shot another and I am not going to even tell you what I did to the other woman. You better stay away from my husband or I'm going to ... kill you."

Davis allegedly shot Lisa Nardine in the neck in October. Investigators in an affidavit said Nardine was in the neighborhood with a friend and sent the friend to her boyfriend's house to get some money.

While she was waiting nearby in a pickup truck, Davis allegedly approached the vehicle and shot her.
