SANFORD, Fla., Feb. 12 (UPI) -- A Florida Department of Children and Families employee charged with child pornography had little contact with clients, officials say.

A spokeswoman said Edward Krakowski, 58, was an "economic self-sufficiency specialist," the Orlando Sentinel reported. Carrie Hoeppner said he usually worked outside the office, telecommuting.

Krakowski was released on bail after his arrest Friday in Seminole County. He was suspended from his job, and officials said they are seeking his dismissal.

He faces seven counts of possession of images showing children in sexual situations. Officials said his state-issued laptop was seized, but there is no evidence he misused it.
