MIDVALE, Utah, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Police said they're searching for suspects in a triple-homicide shooting Tuesday at a known drug house in Midvale, Utah.

Unified Police Department Lt. Justin Hoyal told the Salt Lake Tribune three adults were killed and a fourth woman was in critical condition after the shooting was reported about 8 a.m. Hoyal said the house was part of an "ongoing narcotics investigation."

Police have identified David Fresques, 25, an ex-convict with gang ties, as a person of interest. Hoyal said a second, as-yet unidentified suspect may also have been involved in the shooting.

Hoyal cautioned Fresques' gang ties are known to police but it was unclear whether Tuesday's shooting was itself gang-related.

As many as 80 officers are searching the area around the house, including a nearby Motel 6 where Fresques' car was parked, the Tribune said.
