MEDIA, Pa., Jan. 30 (UPI) -- A 16-year-old Pennsylvania girl pleaded guilty and was sentenced to jail for her role in the videotaped beating of a mentally ill woman by several girls.

Rahmiiyah Henderson Tuesday was sentenced as an adult to six to 23 months in Delaware County Prison in Thornbury after pleading guilty to conspiracy for aggravated assault. She also was sentenced to two years probation for recklessly endangering another person and will be required to attend anger management classes, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

The girl and five others were accused of beating Della Scheerer, 48, of Chester Sept. 28 and posting their video recording of the attack on Facebook. The posting went viral, the newspaper reported.

The Delaware County Daily Times reported the other five girls were still facing charges as adults, though four could still wind up in juvenile court.

One of them, Jasmir Womack, 17, was expected to appear in court Thursday and could also accept a plea deal, defense attorney Tracie Burns told the Daily Times. Takia Nicole Edwards, 19, is scheduled for a Feb. 26 court appearance in court. Jamia Davis, 15, Janyea Bell and Anye Dennis, both 16, are scheduled for March 11 hearings.

Sheerer said she was sitting on her front step when a group of girls came up and four of them began to pummel her. The attack continued into her living room where she was struck four times with a metal chair as she lay on her couch, the newspaper reported.
