Frosh charged with dorm rape of two women

Jan. 30, 2013 at 9:29 AM

CHICAGO, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- A judge in Chicago has set bond at $300,000 for a Loyola University freshman accused of raping two female students in their dormitory rooms.

Prosecutors said Colin Kennedy, 18, used the pretext of being locked out of his own dorm room to gain entrance to the victims' quarters at Fordham Hall, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Both victims knew Kennedy and thought they were doing him a favor by allowing him to sleep in their rooms.

The rapes occurred on consecutive nights in January.

Kennedy, who is from Laguna Beach, Calif., is charged with two counts of criminal sexual assault.
