REVERE, Pa., Jan. 21 (UPI) -- A Pennsylvania woman was hospitalized after the horse she was walking died and fell on top of her, emergency responders said.

The incident took place at the Bucks County Horse Park Sunday afternoon. Firefighters were called to help lift the large dead animal off the woman, who had been pacing the horse up a hill when it collapsed on her, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Monday.

The woman, whose name wasn't reported, did not suffer life-threatening injuries, firefighters said.
